What this site learns about you when you ask about a roof or siding job, and where that goes.

What Is Collected

When you send the form, the site receives the fields you filled in: your name, phone number, email address, the service address, the neighborhood and type of work you chose, your answer about the roof, and your message. It also receives the web address of the page the form was on and your browser's time zone, which helps a contractor call at a sensible hour.

When you phone the number printed on the site, the call may pass through a call-tracking company. Its records show your number, the time and the length of the call, and calls may be recorded for quality and to resolve disagreements.

Like most web servers, this one writes a log line for each page request, and Google Analytics sets cookies to measure visits and page views. Those page views are also used to build an audience of previous visitors, so that the operator of this site can show them home-repair ads on Google and, when enabled, on Facebook and Instagram. Blocking cookies in your browser stops it; so do the Google ads settings page and the Meta ad preferences page; and if your state gives you a targeted-advertising opt-out on the books, a note through the contact page does it as well.

Who Receives It

Your request is forwarded to an independent roofing or siding contractor so that company can contact you. That is the purpose of the site. Companies that provide hosting, email delivery and telephone service to the site handle the information as part of those services.

Your information is not sold to list brokers or advertisers. It may be disclosed if a law, subpoena or court order requires it.

Being Contacted

Sending the form means you agree that this site and the contractor receiving your request may call, text or email you about it at the number and address you gave. Your carrier's message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a text to end texts, and tell any caller you do not want further calls.

Your Requests

To learn what is on file about your request, or to have it deleted, send a note through the contact form and say what you want. Once a contractor has received your request, that company holds its own copy and is responsible for it.

The site is meant for adults who own or manage property. It is not directed to children.

When this policy changes, the updated wording replaces this page. The text on this page is the one in force.
