The Newer Houses
A roof from the 2010s is still young by age. For these the question is weather. NBC DFW published a viewer photograph on June 11, 2023 captioned as hail about three inches across in Argyle. That is one person's description, not a measurement, and no official size for Argyle was found, so none is stated here. It is enough to justify a look.
When a young roof does need replacing, it is worth pricing an impact-rated shingle against a standard one.
